How BabeCred Works

The math behind the system. It's rigged against you. Here's how to survive anyway.

The Two Rules

Rule #1: Deposits Decay

Good things you do lose value over time. She forgets. It's not personal — it's biology. Last week's flowers? Already fading.

Rule #2: Withdrawals Stick

Bad things recover slowly. Very slowly. She remembers that boys' weekend for weeks. The gaming session from last Tuesday? Still on the books.

How Deposits Work

Every deposit has a half-life — the number of days until it's worth half as much. Then half again. Then half again. Until it's basically zero.

ActionCredHalf-LifeGone by
📱 Liked her post+11 day~3 days
☕ Brought her coffee+51 day~3 days
🍳 Made breakfast+122 days~1 week
💐 Flowers (no reason)+153 days~10 days
🗑️ Trash (unasked)+252 days~1 week
✨ Surprise date night+305 days~3 weeks
👶 Took the kids+405 days~3 weeks
✈️ Planned a trip+609 days~5 weeks
Example: You bring flowers (+15, 3-day half-life)

Day 0: +15 — she's happy

Day 3: +7.5 — "oh yeah, those were nice"

Day 6: +3.75 — barely remembers

Day 10: +0.9 — what flowers?

How Withdrawals Work

Withdrawals recover at a fixed rate — usually +2 cred per day, crawling back toward zero. No half-life. Just a long, slow grind.

ActionCredRecoveryDays to clear
😐 "You look fine"-10+2/day5 days
🎮 "One more game"-20+2/day10 days
⛳ Golf day-25+2/day12 days
🍺 Boys' night-30+2/day15 days
🏈 Boys' weekend-80+2/day40 days
📅 Forgot anniversary-150+1/day150 days
🏀 Final 4 w/ the boys-200+1/day200 days
Example: Boys' weekend (-80, +2/day recovery)

Day 0: -80 — she's not talking to you

Day 10: -60 — still cold

Day 20: -40 — starting to thaw

Day 40: 0 — finally cleared. Took 6 weeks.

See the problem? Flowers take 10 days to disappear. A boys' weekend takes 40 days. You need to bring flowers four times just to offset one weekend. And each round of flowers is decaying while you're bringing the next one.

The Kids Multiplier

More kids = more chaos = she forgets your good deeds even faster. Her brain is running at capacity. The system accounts for this.

KidsDeposit Decay SpeedEffect
0Normal (1x)She has all her attention on you
1Slightly faster (0.9x)Some buffer. Almost normal.
225% faster (0.75x)She's busy. Good deeds fade quicker.
340% faster (0.6x)Outnumbered. Deposits evaporate.
4+50% faster (0.5x)Chaos mode. Flowers? What flowers?
Example: Flowers (+15) with 4 kids

Normal half-life: 3 days → With 4 kids: 1.5 days

Day 0: +15

Day 1.5: +7.5

Day 3: +3.75

Day 5: +1 — gone. Meanwhile the boys' weekend is still at -70.

Your Balance

Your balance is calculated in real-time: the sum of all your decaying deposits plus all your slowly-recovering withdrawals. It's a moving target that's always sinking unless you're actively depositing.

You are almost always negative. That's not a bug — it's the system working as designed. Relationships require constant maintenance. The default state is deficit.

How to Win

🎯 Strategy #1: Plan Ahead

Big withdrawal coming? (Boys' weekend, Final Four, golf trip) Start banking cred NOW. You need to overshoot because your deposits decay while you save. Scheduling future withdrawals shows you the projected impact.

📈 Strategy #2: Compound Interest

Small daily deposits beat one big gesture. Taking out the trash every day (+25 each time) keeps a steady flow of cred even as each one decays. Consistency > grand gestures.

⚡ Strategy #3: Unprompted > Asked

Did she ask you to do it? It still counts, but it's worth less. The same action done unprompted — because you just noticed it needed doing — is worth significantly more. She notices.

🚫 Strategy #4: Avoid Catastrophics

Forgetting an anniversary (-150, +1/day) takes 5 months to clear. No amount of flowers fixes that. Set up Babe Info (tap 👸) so the system warns you in advance. Prevention > recovery.

🏆 Strategy #5: Check the Leaderboard

If you're in the Top 5, you can golf. If you're in the Bottom 5, stay home and do the dishes. The leaderboard doesn't lie.
